Static in photography is an image that is fixed. It’s capturing something still, there isn’t any true movement. For example, a picture of someone standing still in one place or flowers are static shots. Static shots convey stillness and calm, being images that don’t move, this makes sense.
Dynamic images are images of things in action. It’s getting pictures of things in motion. For example, somebody running or playing football. Capturing action and having it be still, implying movement. A static shot can be made dynamic through adding principles of motion.
